TAKE NOTICE that By-law No. 503 of
1949 of the Town of Seaforth, copy of which
is hereunder written, is a true copy of a
Proposed by-law of the Corporation of the
Town of Seaforth which was given its first
and second reading on the 19th day of July,
1949. The Municipal Council has agreed to
submit such proposed by-law to the electors
of the Town of Seaforth to obtain the assent
of the electors for the issuing of Forty
Thousand Dollars (040,000,00) of debentures
on the credit of the Corporation for the pur-
pose of constructing and equipping a Sea -
forth and District Community Memorial Re-
creation Centre.
If the assent of the electors is obtained
to .the By-law the same shall be taken into
consideration by the Council after the expir-
ation of one month from the date of the first
publication.
This By-law shall be first published on the
21st day of July, 1949.
The vote for and against the said By-law
shall be taken on the 15th day of. August,
1940, during the hours between 10 a.m. and
6 p.m. Dnylight Saving Time, at the follow-
ing places:

a Seaforth and District Commun-
ity Memorial Recreation Centre on
the Seaforth Agricultural Grounds
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation
of the Town of Seaforth has agreed 'to sub-
mit to the electors a By-law proposing the
issuing of Forty Thousand Dollars (340,-
000,00) of debentures upon the credit of the
Corporation fbr the purpose of constructing
andequipping of a Seaforth and District
Community Memorial Recreation Centre on
the Seaforth Agricultural Grounds.
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the
Corporation of the Town of Seaforth enacts
as follows:
(d) Debentures shall be issued to the

exceeding 31/ per centum per annum and

assent of the duly qualified electors on
Monday, the 15th day of August, 1049.
(3) The vote shall be taken at those Places
appointed by By-law No. 502 of 1940, and
the Deputy Returning Officers, as appointed
by By-law No. 602 of 1049, shall preside at
the various Polling places and shall take the
rate under this By-law.
(4) A copy of this proposed By-law shall
be published once a week for three successive
weeks in The Huron Expositor and The Sea -
forth News newspapers published in the
'Town of Seaforth, together with a notice
signed by the Clerk stating that the copy is a
true copy of the proposed By-law.
(a) The notice shall also state .that, 'f the
assent of the electors is obtained on the by-
law submitted, that it will be taken into -con-
sideration by the Council, after the expiration
of one month from the date of the first public-
ation.
(b) The notice shall also state the date of
the first publication of the by-law.
(c) The notice shall also state the day
and places appointed for taking the votes.
(d) The notice shall also state the time
and place for the appointment of persons to
attend at the polling places andat the final
summing of votes by the Clerk.
(e) The notice shall also state that any
tenant desiring to vote shall, not later than.
the tenth day before the day appointed for
taking the vote, file with the Clerk a declar-
ation Rs provided for hy sob -section 3 of
section 283 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1937,.
