Town of Seaforth from May 21st, 1949 to September 1st,
1949.
Any dogs so found running at large, contrary to this

All persons in the Municipality owning or
harboring dogs must purchase 1949 licenses for
same on or before Juune 30th, 1949, Liceneses will be
issued from the Treasurer's Office in the Town Hall,
or from the Tax Collector, J. Cummings.
After that date summonses through the Court
will be issued to the owner or harborers of dogs not
having licenses.
All dogs must wear license tags.

The' Community has been greatly
saddened by the death of two mem-
bers of the Fine:land family only
little more than two weeks apart, of
the aged husband and father and be-
loved daughter and sister, Miss Alice.
The deepest sympathy is extended to
the aged .wife and mother who is
confined to her bed most of the
time, and to all the family, who will
miss their loved ones greatly day
by day.

The Kippen East Instituto' held
annual picnic on Thursday afternoon
at the Seaforth Lions Park. Supper
was served at 630 to about 80 mem-
bers and friends and their families.
A ball game started off the sports in
the afternoon followed by races. The

left Detroit on July 5th for a de-
lightful cruise on Lake Huron and
.Georgian. Bay on the steamer City
of Cleveland. During the cruise
which, lasted four days stops wers
made at Mackinac Island, Michigan
and Midland, Ontario. Mrs. Doig re-
ports a very happy trip and the mak-
ing of many pleasant acquaintan:ies
among. the vacationing passengers
who represented several Canadian
provinces as well as points in the
-United States.
