COLUMBAN The members of the St. 'Colum - ban C.W.L. met in the parish hall for their first meeting of the new year, May 1st. The new president, Mrs. Tom Morris, opened the meet- ing with prayer, after which current business was discussed and disposed of. A parish party was arranged for May 23rd. The retiring president, Mrs. Jno. Murphy, was then called to the front and presented with 'a reading lamp. After thanking the ladies, the meet - ting adjourned for May Devotions held in the church. The topic for the day, on China, was read by Mrs. Hazlewood.
