officiated The bride wore a tradi-
tional white satin gown styled on
princess lines with sweetheart neck-
line and long sleeves tapering to
points. The full skirt was trimmed
at the front with round satin roses.
A princess Elizabeth headdress held
her veil of embroidered illusion. She
carried a cascade bouquet of roses

lily -of -the -valley. Mr, Ray Consit
was his brother's best man. The
reception was held at the home of
the bride's parents, The -bride's
mother received in a gray figured
jersey dress with black accessories,
and a corsage of pink roses. Assist-
ing was the bridegroom's mother,
wearing an aqua ensemble with cor-
sage of yellow roses. The couple left
later for a motor trip through East-
ern Ontario. The bride travelled in a
gray suit with black accessories, and
corsage of red roses.

After 42 years of teaching, he had
retired in 1942,
During the year of the coronation,
he was honored by the King; and had
been received at Buckingham palace
and the White House. He had been
introduced to Mussolini at the Vene-
tian palace in Rome and niet Hitler
in Munich.
In 1938 his portrait, -painted by Sir
Wyly Grier, was unveiled during
commencement exercises at Ihrmber-
side collegiate in Toronto, Sole sur-
vivor is his widow, the former Annie
B. Taylor.
A funeral service was held in Tor-
onto Friday evening, On Saturrday
the remains were brought to Heusall
where a service was held at 2.30 p,m.,
followed by interment.
