Hospital Grants
When additions and improvements were at first contemplated for
the Hospitals at Goderich, Clinton and Seaforth no Provincial help
was expected, but the Drew Government saw the need of helping
Hospital Boards all over the Provinc4 both in building and
maintenance,
For building purposes alone the following appropriations were
made, and payments made as the work of building progressed, which
is the custom in all cases: -
GODERICH APPROPRIATED 324,000.00; paid to date $18,000.00
CLINTON ... " $25,666.001 " " " $19,250.00
SEAFORTH ... " 325,000.00; " " " ,$25,000.00
Maintenance Grants 'will also be increased to the extent of 235%
over the 1947 grants, or over $5,000,000.00 will he expended for this

its a f matter
Your bank is there to serve you in a
personal, private way.
When you make a deposit your passbook
is closed to anyone but you and your
bank. When you arrange a loan, that is
strictly between you and your bank.
When you discuss private financial matters
with your bank manager, you know they
will stay private.
Such privacy .is the very essence of
. Canadian banking. 1t permits you to deal
with your back and to use its
many servi.ces on a basis of complete
confidence and trust.
