David Bowes. --A very sad ' death
occurred in 1•Iuilett just east of Blytlt
when C. D',avid Bowes passed away
Sunday, Aug, 19. For dive weeks he
was laid up with a severe case of
blood poisoning. Mr, Bowes operated
a sawing outfit in this district and
was very well and favorably known
He was born 3-7 years ago near the
farm on which he died, son of the late
George Bowes, and Mrs. Bowes, of
Blyth. Twelve years ago he was
united in marriage to Miss Amanda'
Watson, of Hullelt, who survives
him, also three children, Reta, Arnold
and Irvine; two sisters, Mrs, Thomas.
Colson, Mullett, Mrs. \ienna jack -
sen, Morris, and two brothers, John
and William, of Blyth, also survive.
A private funeral was held 'Mondayi
from his late residence lot 20, con, 14.
Rev, Dr. Barnby 'conducted the ser-
vices. The pallbearers were Menno
Jackson, Thomas Colson, Earl Wat-
son, John Watson, Russell McDon-
ald. Among those attending the fun-
eral from a distance were Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Bowes and Miss Zella, and
stirs. Saulter, of Florida.
