The last fety years have
brought to town -dwellers
many new conveniences attd
comforts.
They are making- town life
particularly attractive to a
large number of home -lov-
ing people to whom city life
with its higher cost of living
does not make sufficient ap-
peal. '
Horne -loving people are na-
turally strong for the home
ties, and for keeping up
friends. Long Distance en-
ables them to keep in touch
with a wide circle of friends
in the surrounding terri-
tory, and the low rates are
an inducement to do so.
Even where circumstances
carry town -dwellers away,'
the recollection of the
"home -town,." of friends and
neighbours is always pres-
ent,andthey e inti
to alking with them, from
time to time, by Long Dis-
tanee.
