The regular meeting of the Council
was held on Monday, 'May alst, All
members present. The Tyndall drain
report was read and adopted. The
Gardiner Drain .By -!Law was read a
first time and provisionally adopted.
The Mayor and Reeve of Mitchell
called upon the 'Council ,soliciting a
grant towards the buiiditng of a rest
room in .Mitchell. The matter was
laird over for future consideration.
Fred Vipond was appointed Pound -
keeper instead of -George Docking,
who was unable to act. The report on
the (Black .Creek Drafn was read and
adopted and the Clerk instructed to
prepare a By -!Law. Orders were is-
sued ou the Treasurer amounting in
the aggregate ,to $446.30. The 'Council
then adjourned to meet again on
Monday, the 28th day of May, at 1
o'clock a.m. to hold Court of Re-
vision of the Assessment 'Roll and
general business.
