Sir Robert Borden, Prime Minister of Canada, arrived at Quebec on Monday after a three - months' absence in England and Franc, and left by special train a few hours linter for Ottawa. Taylor, in this district, with headquarters at Loudon, Ont., is proving a most popular unit. One hundred men have been attested in the first two lviceks and when it has reached its establishment of 180 it expects to proceed overseas. Fores- try companies are employed in the parks and forests of Britain and Southern Frazee converting the trees into suitable lumber for use at tie front.
