FEDERATION NEWS
After .a eon-warativoly quietm
two months as - far as farOr-
ganization meetings were ''con-
cerned notices of annual meet-
ings are again being received.
The first to arrive is'notice of
the Out. Wheat Producers Ann -
al Meeting to be held' at the Roy-
al York, Hotel,'Tpronto, Sept, 27.
This meeting is open to all Out,
Wheat Producers. This is the
producer's opportunity to. voice
his opinions.
Perhaps there is something
that you object to, or perhaps
have a suggestion for some inl.
on• }movement, The annual meeting
old is the place to have these things
rla brought before the ,producers for
discussion and action. Too may
is times farmers mention these
a- problems to their neighbours, but
fail to report to the county sec-
retary or one of the delegates
with result that the idea never
gets to the Wheat Board and no
action is taken. The organiza-
tion will only serve you best
when it receives your suggest-
ions and criticisms at the annual
meeting. Please drop a line to
Huron County Wheat Producers,
Box 310, Clinton, before Sept. 15
if you have a' suggestion to make.
A meeting of the O.F.A. Mem-
bers was held Aug. 29th. The
meeting approved the recommen-
dations of the grain meeting call-
ed by the Board of Governors on
July 18th which has already re-
sulted in some considerable quan-
tities of U.S. oats being imported
into Ontario.
There was no definite report
