wedding of Mary Phyllis, daugh-
ter of Mr, and Mrs. Thomas But-
ters and Sohn Joseph Morris, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morris,
Staffa. Rev, R. Durand officiated
at the ceremony. Given in mar-
riage by her father, the bride
wore a floor)ength'gown of im-
ported silk ' arnel, styled with
flared skilit Ando soft pleats at
the back extending into a chapel
train, the bodice had a Queen
Anne neckline, and long lily -point
sleeves. Her elbow -length veil
from a coronet of seed pearls, and
she carried a bouquet of red ro-
ses. She was attended by her sis-
ter -Miss Elizabeth Ann Butters,
Miss .Ann. Morris, sister of the
bridegroom and Miss Rose Mane
Feeney, Kitchener. The attend-
ants wore similar cocktail -length
gowns of Dresden blue peau de
sole, designed with a hollow J
scoop n,e c k l i n e, three quarter -
length sleeves, empire waist and
sheath skirts with matchiing tulle I T
overskirts, Matching bow head--
dresses completed their ensem• i s
bles,. Peter and Paul Cameron
of London were ring bearers and
carried the rings in white satin
pillows. Jerry Morris of Sault
Ste Marie was best man, and the
ushers 'were Greg Morris, Port
Credit, and Ron Butters, of St.

The wedding dinner was serv-
ed at Brodhagen hall followed by.
a reception. The bride's mother
received the guests wearing an
olive green lace dress and beige
accessories. She was assisted by
the bridegroom's mother, who
wore a royal blue jersey dress,
matching hat and black acces-
sories. For travelling the bride
chose a mauve suit, brown. acces.
series and corsage of.yellow ro-
ses, and carried a China mink
jacket. On their return Mr. and
Mrs. Morris will reside in Lon-
don. The bride is a graduate of
St. Joseph's Hospital School of
Nursing, London.

e ed to be sent to a leper colony.
It was decided to send $50 to
, support a blind child, $50 to buy
a milk for children and $30 to buy
a machine to give work to a handi-
capped person, all in missionary
t fields. Also to adopt a child next
month. All this money was pro-
ceeds of the bazaar held in Nov-
ember. The election of officers
-took place.
