ded the Fireside Forum which
met at home of Mr. and Mrs. Ol-
iver Anderson, The topic was The
Business of Farming. The great
majority of our farmers want to
be farming in ten years from
now, We may be too old but pre-
fer the farmer's life. The changes
we expect to see in our district
will be a tendency toward larger
farms, raising more of our own
cattle as shipping expenses get
higher, raising better crops with
improved and new varieties of
seed suitable for the locality
and the use of more fertilizer.,
The farmers will be more careful

many fail to take advantage of
it. 4. As for management assist-
ance we believe college trained

men often give poor advice. It
would seem to be wiser for a
young farmer to seek advice
from a successful farmer in the
district—he has had experience.
