three windmills with wooden
wheels, metal towers and a coun-
terbalancing weight, instead of a
vane, or tail. Perhaps some one of
your many readers could inform
me 110 to the approximate location
of these windmills. This infertile;

SHOLDiCE — STEPHENSON
Wedding vows were exchanged
before Rev, Lloyd J. Brown in the
United Church, Brussels, Saturday
by Elizabeth Ann Stephenson and
Kenneth Watson Sholdice. The
bride is the daughter of Mrs. Mar-
garet Stephenson, Brussels, and
the late Fred Stephenson. The
groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Watson Sholdice, R.R. 4, Brussels.
William Stephenson gave his
sister in marriage. The bride chose
a street -length gown of white lace
over taffeta designed with bateau
neckline, forming a V in the back,
short sleeves and a taffeta bow at
the waistline. A Princess Margaret
headdress held her shoulder -length
veil and she carried a. white bible
crested with pink roses and satin
streamers trailing rosebuds.
Miss Ruth Schmidt, of Stratford,
was maid of honor in a street -
length gown of turquoise nylon ov-
er taffeta. Miss Trances Myers as
bridesmaid wore a similar gown in
coral, and flowergiri Joan Stephen-
son wore a bouffant white nylon
frock with turquoise cummerbund.
John Pipe, of R.R. 4, Brussels,
was groomsman, and William Mc-
Quarrfe ushered guests.
For travelling the bride chose a
brown sheath dress with gt.ld and
brown accessories. Mr. and Mrs.
Sholdice will live in Brussels.
WMS AND WA MEETING
The regular August meeting of
the WMS and WA. of Duff's
Church, McKillop, was held at the
home of Mrs. Mac Scott on Wed-
nesday, Aug. 17th in the evening.
WA president, Mrs. Aaron Jantzf
opened the meeting with a theme
song and prayer. The scripture was
read by Mrs. R, F, Mcl5ereher, The

MONTGOMERY DAVIS
Montgomery Davis, 76, of
Staffa, died at Scott. Mojnorfal
Hospital on Friday following tin
illness of six weeks. Mr. Davis
was born In Hibbert township,
and had farmed there all his life.
He was twice married. In 1010
he married Adeline Veinier, and
some years alga he married Jessie
Laurie, who predeceased 111111.
Surviving is one brothel' David
of 'Moose Jaw, Sask.
