MANN Miss Sarah Jane Mann, 82, of Hallett twp. died Sunday, April 10, at the Thamer Nursing I3•ome, Seaforth, where she had been a patient. She was born in Hullett twp, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Mann. The fun- eral was held Wednesday at 2 p. m. from the Ball and Match fun• era' home, Clinton, with Rev. Grant Mills officiating. Burial was in Clinton cemetery. ST. COLUMBAN Last Member of the Family of the Late Father Stephen. Eckert, Ser. vont of God, and the oldest Par- ishioner of St, Calttmrban Parish Passes Array. MTS. John iMnrr•ay, the former Louise Eckert, died in St. Mary's Hospital, London, Sunday, April 10th in her 89th year. She was the last member of a family of nine. Those who predeceased her were: Fr. Stephen Eckert, Pr. Michael Eckert, Mrs. Dominic Bruxer, Mrs. Geo. Holland, Mrs. John McMann, Con., Fred and Pe- ter Eckert. Mrs, Murray was bora in Mc- Killop twp. on July 2ncl, 1871, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Eckert. In 1890 she married John Murray who predeceased her Jan. 31, 1932. She hall lived all her life in McKillop twp. except the last three years which were spent at St. Mary's, London. She was a devout member of St Co- lumban Roman Catholic Church, the League of the Sacred Heart and the C.W.L. Surviving are five sons, John of Los Angeles, California, Leo. St. Columban, Michael, Matthew and Stephen, i1IcICiilop, and three slaughters, Mrs. Frank Evans (Camilla) Dublin; Mrs. Wilfred O'Rourke (Helen), McKillop and Mrs. Jos. Melady (Merle), Ails bert: two sons, Thomas, March 16, 1930, and Joseph, Jan. 23, 1945 and two daughters, Mary, 1898, and Mrs. Wilfred one.nl0a2 v (Eliz- abeth) Sept. 24, 1950 predeceased her. 'There are 28 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. The funeral 'w -as held from the home of her sou Stephen Murray, con. 10, McKillop, to St. Colum - ban Church, Wednesday morning, April 13, where Requiem High Mass was sung by the pastor, Rev, Fr. Satin .McCowotl at 9 o'clock, Present in the sanctuary were Rev. Father T. McQuaid of Scar- borough, Mev. Dr. Ffoulkes and Rev. Fr. Durand of Dublin, and Rev. I`r. Joseph O'Rourke, Strat. ford.
