HIGH SCHOOL NEWS
Last Thursday afternoon Seaforth
High sent a talent show to Exeter
high. First on the program was the
orchestra consisting of Ken Larone,
drums, Bob Scott, trombone, Jinn
Flannigan, trumpet, Gord Rowland,
trumpet, Wayne Dinwoodie, violin,
and Stan Smith, piano. These boys
played three choice selections which
everyone enjoyed. Alice Watson, so-
prano soloist, was next, followed by
the school quartet. The last act was
put on by the Great Z, better known
for his magic, as Bud Zeigler. Mr. Z
performed a number of tricks that
made the audience wonder if they
were dreaming or if they needed
glasses. Bud has a `Zomby' that is
completely helpless under his power.
I am sure the students are anxious
to see his act in the near future.
In assembly last Wednesday,
Nancy Spittal sang two solos accom-
panied by Evelyn McPhee.
This week is the week for the On-
tario Education School Inspectors to
visit S.D.H.S. It is not known for
sure the days they are coming but
we are prepared.
Say, do you know what? Exams
start April 2nd and continue to Apr,
9th. There is not much time left so
make use of what there is.
