A pretty wedding took place at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin
Clarke on Friday afternoon at 2.30
o'clock, when their daughter, Ethel
Mae, became the bride of Mr. Regi-
nald Watterworth. Rev. D. A, Mac-
Millan officiated at the ceremony in
the presence of about thirty guests.
The bride was attended by her sister,
Mrs. John Smith, as matron of hon-
or wearing a turquoise taffeta dress
with headdress to match and carried
pink gladioli. The bride, given in
marriage by her father, wore a gown
of white velvera rayon, fashioned
with full skirt, sweetheart neckline
and lily point sleeves. Her head-
dress matched her gown and she car-
ried a bouquet of pink gladioli. Mr.
Ernest Clarke, brother of the bride,
played the wedding music, Mr. John
Smith ushered. At the reception
following the ceremony Mrs, Clarke
wore gray nylon with navy (blue ac-
cessories and gladioli corsage. Mrs.
Watterworth, mother of the bride-
groom, wore gray sheer with navy
accessories and pink gladioli in Cor-
sage. Following a motor trip to
Northern Ontario they will reside in
the Royal apartments, Seaforth.
'Guests were present from Seaforth,
