The Voice of Temperance
Canon Quinton Warner of Lon-
don, was one of the speakers at
the Ontario Temperance Federa-
tion ,Convention at 'Hamilton. He
described the practise of social
drinking as the greatest curse in
the whole tragic problem of alco-
holism. When people of wealth, ,
education and leisure put the
stamps of approval on drinking
then the problem has been en-
larged and aggoavated. One does
not question that sooner or later
people will come to their senses
and an enlightened .public opinion
will brand this cocktail guzzling
as the degenerate habit that it is.
