'MCRner has given it as his judgment that "Li- ouor is at the root of most of the rases of homicide coming before the courts, acrd in some large mea- sure responsible for the ;boo fre- quent attacks on women and 'girls and' other serious crimes. Liquor and broken homes are the two great forces for crime in our nom- m initv." The iudgment of. the Aief -justice should he enough to deter any ronnnnnitr from open- ing un or increasing its linuor out- lets. The mere liaaur--the more crime,--Advt.
