When one of the family calls you to the
phone and whispers, "I think it's busi-
ness," it reminds you how important
calls of that kind are, even at home.
You don't have to upset your eve-
ning's plans, because your telephone gets
things done quickly, nearby or far away.
Whether it's a;natter of sales, or serv-
ice, whether it's early evening or late at
night, you can depend on your telephone.
Just give it a thought next time one of
the family says, "It's for you, Dad!"

BOY SCOUTS APPLE DAY
ON SATURDAY
This year an extra big appeal has
gone out for the support of the an-
nual Boy Scout Apple Day which is
being held on Saturday next. This
yearly event is the main fund-raising
project of the Troop, the proceeds
of which are used for organization
expenses of the Troop and the newly -
formed Wolf Cub Pack and for the
purchase of training equipment.
A Wolf Cub Pack (for boys 8-12)
has been started and nearly 50,young
boys enrolled. This makes a total of
almost 100 boys now receiving
training in the Boy Scout movement.
The -Scout Troop meets every Wed-
nesday night with Scoutmaster J. R.
Spittal in charge. The Wolf Cub
Pack, because of its size, has been
divided in half. The one half meets
Monday night and the other half on
Thursday night, Personnel in charge
