MRS. CHARLES REGELE
Mrs, Charles Regele, of lot 3,
concession 9, McKillop twp. died in
Scott Memorial Hospital, Seaforth,
Sunday afternoon in her 70th year.
She had been a patient in the hos-
pital /or the past 22 days, had not
enjoyed good health for several
months, and was seriously ill for the
past three weeks. However, death
came very suddenly. She was the
former Elizabeth Eggert, daughter
of the late John Eggert and his wife,
the late Elizabeth Hoegy Eggert, and
was born on lot 4, con. 9, McKillop,
on Oct. 5, 1884, Her husband, the
late Charles Regele, died on Nov. 25,
1943, Other than five years spent in
Saskatchewan, she had always re-
sided in McKillop township, She was
a member of McKillop Evangelical
United Brethren Church, McKillop
twp. She is survived by one son, Har-
ry Regele, on the homestead in Me-
Killnp twp.; three step -sons, Edward
Regele and Clarence Regele, MCKIl-
lop twp, and George Regele, Logan
twp.: four step -daughters, Mrs, Wes-
ley (Elmina) Fischer, Fullarton twp;
Mrs, William (Annie) I`Ioegy, Sea -
forth; Mrs. William (Ida) Gross,
Auburn; and Mrs. Alex. (Adeline)
Stoskopf, Fullarton twp„ six sisters,
Mrs, Henry Kleber, Brodhagen; Mrs.
Charles Fischer, Gladwin, Mich.;
Mrs. James Campbell and Mrs. John
Keszler, Victoria, B.C.; Mrs. Lloyd
McLean, Elbow, Sask.; Mrs. Edward
Scherbarth, Logan 'twp. and one bro-
ther, Charles Eggert, McKillop twp.
Her husband, one step -daughter,
Mrs. William '(Caroline) Doerr, two
sisters, Mary and Caroline Eggert,
and one grandson, died previously.
The funeral was held on Wednes-
day from the Evangelical Untied
Brethren Church, Rev, Howard L.
Brox, of Sebringville, officiated and
interment was made in McKillop
Evangelical United Brethren ceme-
tery.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kistner and
John F. Prueter have returned home
after spending two months in Flori-
da.
Mr. Harry Beuerman has been
moved to Scott Memorial Hospital,
Seaforth, he has been confined to
bed at his hone five months.
Flowers adorned the altar of St.
Peter's Lutheran Church at the Sun-
day morning service in memory of
Edward Jarmuth, who passed away
one year ago March 15th. They were
placed there by his wife and family.
Quite a number of parents and
friends from this vicinity attended
the Mitchell High School ,Play on
Friday and Saturday evenings.
A hockey game was held in the
Mitchell Arena on Friday afternoon
between Willow Grove school and

mother-in-law, Mrs. Robert McBride

Mr, and Mrs. Alvin McBride ac-
companied Mr. Edgar Schnell to Tor-
onto on Monday, Mr. Schnell being
enroute to his home in Alberta.
Mr, and Mrs. Eddie Taylor of
Stratford visited on Sunday with
Mrs. Dinsdale and Miss Mabel White-
man.
Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Pinkney and
family of Toronto were weekend
guests of Mr, and Mrs. Samuel Cud -
more.
Mr, and Mrs. Eldon Kerr of Win-
throp visited on Sunday with the lat-
ter's mother, Mr, and Mrs, E, Dow -
son.
Mrs. R. Dinsdale returned home
on Sunday after spending three
weeks with her daughter and son -ill-
law, Mr. and Mrs. E, Taylor in
Stratford.
One of the worst storms of many
years hit this district last week.
Many local farmers were forced to
take tractors, horses, or go on foot
to the local stores for supplies, after
the storm had snarled car traffic for
three days.

and Mrs. L. Pinkney attended the
wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Cudmore's
granddaughter, 'Miss D, 'Cudmore,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart
