Mr. Art Forster has sold his
house in Dublin to Mr. Pat McGrath
o£ Dublin, with immediate posses-
sion.
The May meeting of the Catholic
Women's League was held Monday
evening, May 4, in the Dublin Con-
tinuation School with 25 members
present. Mrs. Meagher, the presi-
dent, opened the meeting with pray-
er, the roll was called. The presi-
dent then called on Miss Marie Na-
gle, the secretary, to read the min-
utes of the previous meeting, they
were approved by Mrs. Jordan. The
treasurer's report was then given
by Mrs. Louis Looby and approved
by Mrs. McConnell. The conveners
for the different committees were
then appointed. Mrs. Patrick Flan-
nagan gave a very interesting read-
ing on "Mary and her :Scapular",
and Rev. Dr. Ffoulkes, a talk on
"St. Monica" it being her feast day.
A hymn was then sung accompanied
by Mrs. Lane on the piano. Mrs.
Earl Healy moved the meeting be
adjourned with the singing of 00
Canada and God save the Queen.
