ice in St. Paul's Anglican Church- on
Sunday evening. The rector, Rev. M.
'B. Parker, preached a Very approp-

Death of Alexander M. Smith,
Another of Hensall's aged atad re-
spected residents passed away sud-
denly -earlyt Monday morning in the
person of Alexander M. Smith, in his.
84th year. He was in his usual health
up to Monday morning, when he
took a severe heart attack and passed
away in about an 'hour. Considering
• has age, Mr. Smith was in fair health
and - he and his daughter were rare -
paring for a trip to Michigan this
week. He was horn in Lanark Coun-
ty and dived in Blyth for a-ntunber of
years and moved to Hensall about
thirty years ago;'where he carried out
-business as a drover. Later going into
the produce •'business, he retired a
few years 1go..IHe was a member of
the vi large conncll for several years

his term. as Reeve, the cement road.

Fulton -Stone Wedding. - A very
interesting event took place in St.
.Paul's Anglican Church at 4 o'clock
n Saturday afternoon, when Dora
Jeanne, youngest daughter of Mir.
'Wm. Stone, and one of Hen sill s
most popular young ladies, was unit-
ed in marriage to Frederic Augustine
Ellman Fulton, youngest 5011 of Mrs.
Kirkland of London. Tie ceremony
was performed by Rev. ML 13. Park-
er. The bride entered the church on
tite arm of her father and looked

and bridal veil and carried a colonial
bouquet of roses and sweet peas. She
also wore the groom's gift, a heanti-
ful bracelet. She was attendee by her
sister, Miss (Grace ~'toner who was

and gloves to thatch, and sanies a
bouquet of yellow roses and mauve
sweet peas. The groom seas attended
by his brother Jolt 1 :Fulton of Lon-
don. The wedding march was ?Zayed

gift to the bridesmaid was a piece of
silver plateware, to the organist an
amber pendant. After the ceremony
a buffet lunch was served'at the home
of the bride's father. The same even-

wedding trip to Sarnia and other

will reside in London. Four genera-
tions of the groom's family were pre-

Storehouse Destroyed,
A fire occurred last Friday might by
which the storehouse of 1:[r. j.
IGovenlock, containing some forty
tons- of hay, was totally destroyed, A
car filled with hay was standing close
by and it also was completely des-
troyed. This ]ray was also the prop-
erty of Mr. tGovenlock and, as there
was no insurance on it it was entirely
lost. The grain elevator of Mir. Beat-
tie, nearby, also took :fire but was put
otft before much damage was done,
