J'AMIESON The , passing of Mr. William H, Jamieson of the Huron Road, west of town, shortly before noon on 'Wed- nesday removes a well known and highly respected nnem'ber of one of the pioneer families of the (Huron Road. Mr. Jamieson had been around as usual until suffering a heart at- tack during the morning. He had not enjoyed the best of health for several years but his death carne as a shock to his many 'friends. !Surviving are 'his 'wife, formerly Miss E. Carter of the Huron Road, and one ,brother, 'Tames 'Jamieson, who resided on the 'homestead with the deceased. 'His mother predeceased 1, hien last summer. The funeral will be 'held from the the late residence, lot 35, con. 1', Mc- Killop, on Friday afternoon, March 9, at 2 o'clock, the services being con- ducted by Rev.. W. P. ,Lane of North Side United 'Church, Seaforth. Inter- ment will take place .in the 'Clinton Cemetery. ELLEN DEVEREAUX The death occurred On Friday, Mar. 2, at the 'home of her 'brother, Wil- liam John Devereaux, 32nd c'on'cession Tuckers'mith, of Ellen Devereaux, an esteemed resident, in her ,67th year. Miss Devereaux was a d'au'ghter o'f the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dev- ereaux of Tuckersmith. She is sur- vived by her brother, William john Devereaux. The 'funeral took place Monday morning .from St, James' Catholic Church, to S't, James' Ceme- tery. Rev. Father T. P. 'Hussey of- ficiated. The pallbearers were Messrs.
