$2,813.59, and there are still some

sali, $1,086.59; East of London Read
including parts of Tucker•smith, Os-
borne and Hibbert, $638.25; West of
Mensal' to 'Parr Line in Hay 'Twp,
and part of Stanley, $488,75. Grant
from,the County of Huron, 9600. Total
92,813,59. That's great and we, too,
want to thank you. But we know that
your greatest satisfaotiou comes
from knowing that by your giftsyou
have made the world a better place
and you have made it brighter for
some prisoner of war or some wound-
ed soldier or some child who has lost.

bution to the $2,513.59 raised,

and Miss Greta. Laramie, will present
the new slate of officers for 1943.44.

Mr. and Mrs, Glenn Slavin visited
with relatives in London Saturday.
The Hensall Girls' Dance Club will
sponsor another dance on Thursday,
April 8th, in the Town Hall, Hensall,
Music by Ted Pudney's band.
Mr. Robert Passmore of Toronto is
spending a few weeks at the home of
his parents, Mr, and Mrs. John Pass-
more.
A special service of dedication was
held in Carmel Presbyterian Church
on Sunday morning when two addi-
tions were made to the auditorium of
the church, a pulpit fall and com-
munion table runner, the gifts of Mr.
Donald Walker of Toronto, only son
of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Walker, Hensall.
Rev. Wm, Weir, B.A., received and
dedicated these gifts on behalf of the
congregation and delivered a, very
impressive sermon in keeping with
the occasion. The presentation was,
made by Mr, and Mrs, Geo, Walker.
A duet entitled "Beyond the Sunset"
was sung by Mrs. Harold Jones and
Miss Jean Love, An anthem "0 Wor-
ship the Lord," was sung by the
choir, Rev, Weir soloist,
The Exeter-Hensall branch of the
Canadian Legion are sponsoring a
bingo and dance in the town hall. on
Wednesday, April 14th.
