Mrs. J. Drummond conducted

on Oct. 12 in the church. Mrs.
W. Dodds presided and opened
the meeting with a thanksgiving
poem, Hymn 578 was sung fol-
lowed with prayer. Mrs. W,
'Church gave a reading entitled,
"I like the Immigrant", 'Mrs. J.
'Boyd was in charge of the de-
votional program and took for
her theme, ,Call to •Committ-
i hent, 'Hymn 148 was sung. The
scripture lessons taken from the
book of Luke were read by Mrs.
W. Alexander 'and Mrs. L. Pep-
per. Hymn 356 was sung. Mrs.
