The Hone Helpers meeting of the Women's Missionary Society was held in the church with Mrs. M. Houghton presiding and leading in devotional exercises. Mrs. T. L. Scott read a paper which had been prepared by Mrs. G. M. Young of Forest, and Mrs. Houghton presented the topic prepared by Miss M. Cur- rie. Mrs. Frances Glossop played an instrumental number and Mrs. Grace Scott led in the Glad Tidings prayer. BLAKE Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ducharme of the Goshen Line were mar- ried 50 years' on June 6, 1955, there were many members of their immediate families pre- sent to celebrate this event. They have a family of four daughters and five sons who were all present for the happy occasion except Mr. Reg- is Dennomme and family of London, who were unable to at- tend. Those attending were their daughters from Detroit, Port Huron, and Goderich, and sons from Hensall, Zurich and Port Huron, Mich., along with their families. They all left wishing their parents many more years of married bliss. Mrs. Guston Bon is in a Lon- don Hospital in the interest of her health; also Miss Laurecn Oesch was taken to that city for treatments in a hospital, dur- ing the week. We wish these two residents of this community better health real soon. Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon Corri- veau and family are getting set- tled in their home in Blake.
