leadership of Miss Jean Ivison.
Rev. McLeod chose for his ser-
mon, "The New Life." At 8 p.m.
an informal service of Easter
hymns was held.

Constance .Golden Links Mis-
sion Band held their meeting in
the Sunday School room on
Sunday. The Mission Band open-
ed the Sunday School by hymn
1243. Wilma Dale read the scrip-
ture, "The Easter Story", Mar-
jory Hoggart, the president, led
in the Lord's Prayer. The Mis-
sion Band went to their own
classroom when the M. B. Pur-
pose was repeated in unison,
minutes read and business con-
ducted. Billy Millson read the
story, "Fig Tree Village". John
Hoggart gave prayer for mis-
sionaries. Gary Jewitt gave a
reading on Thanks for Spring
and its Beauty. Mrs. Mellwain
read a few verses from the
Bible and the story on these
verses was given by Mrs. Bab-
cock, Meeting closed with Mrs.
McIlw•ain reading a story from
"World Friends".

Saturday were Mrs. Annie Way,

The Easter meeting of the
Women's Missionary Society
was held in the church on Good
Friday evening with members
of the congregation as their
guests. The president, Mrs.
Lloyd Sorsdahl, presided and
opened the meeting with suit-
able words of welcome to all
present. The members of the
Young Peoples'Society present-
ed the religious drama "Naomi".
Rev. S. Kerr spoke briefly on
the significance of Good Fri-
day. Those leading in devotion-
al exercises were Mrs. T. Laing,
Mrs. M. Lomond, Mrs. John
Wallace and Mrs. J. M. Scott.
A picture film "Christ is Ris-
en" was shown with Mrs. Lloyd
Sorsdahl as narrator, Several
Easter hymns were sung during
the meeting with Mrs. Will
Miller at the organ, and an
Easter number, "The Old Rug-
ged •Cross" was sung by the
Male Quartette. The presenta-
tion of a Life Membership cer-
tificate to.Mrs. John Wallace
by Mr. Kerr was a pleasing fea-
ture, Mrs. Thos. Scott Sr., ex-
pressed appreciation to all those
taking part in the program.
HULLETT
On Saturday evening, April
21st, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Dalton
entertained 58 members of the
Fireside Farm Forum for their
closing party. The children
played crokinole, with Elda Ri-
ley and J. C. Babcock winners of
the most games. 'Tommy Riley
and Marsha Tebbutt received
consolation prizes. The tele-
vision program was also much
enjoyed. As Mrs. Mansell Cook
had not received a prize dur-
ing the Beason, she was given a
special prize. Miss Carolyn Tay-
lor and Eric Anderson received
prizes. The adults played pro.
gressive euchre, Marilyn Tay-
lor winning most games; lone
hands, Mrs. Jim Howatt and
Eric An d e r s o n; Consolation,
Mrs. Mansell Cooke and Neil
Dolmage. We thank the local
papers for their co-operation.
