Chief Justice Malcolm A. Macdon-
ald, of the British Columbia Court
of Appeal, died suddenly at his host„
in 'Vancouver on Oct. 13. He was
66 years of age. Born in Huron
County, he was educated at Kincar-
dine and Goderich schools. He was
called to the Ontario bar in 1906
and went to British Columbia in
1907, settling at Cranbrook. He en-
, tared politics and was appointed At-
torney -General of the province in
