Mrs. George McCldnehey suffered a
severe nose bleed Saturday and was
rushed to the hospital. Latest report
she was mucic improved and her many
friends will be pleased to know she
will soon be able to return to her
home.
We are pleased to report Floyd Mc -
Ash is much improved after under-
going an operation recently in the
hospital.
The funeral of the late Mrs. Frank
Weekes was held on Saturday,
Miss Annie Foster. a former resid-
ent of this community, is now very
low at the home of her sister, Mrs.
Henry Deihl, with no hope for her
recovery.
The neighbors are having a bee to
finish the putting in of Mr. Weekes'
crop.
A joint meeting of the Upper
Canada Bible Society will be held in
the United Church, Sunday, May 19th,
at 7.p.m. Consequently there will be
no service in St. John's Church, Ser-
vice will be in charge of Rev. Mr.
Peters and Rev. Mr. Graham.
