suffered a back 'injury Tuesday
morning from a falling tree and

The Tuckersmith, Ladies' Club
met at the home of Mrs. Walter
Pepper, Clinton, at 8.30 p.m. on
De. 3rd. Fifteen members and
four visitors were present. The
roll call was answered by an ex-
change of .gifts. It was voted that
310 be sent to the Christmas Seal
Fund. Mrs. L. Lawson gave a
reading, "Aa Old Fashioned
Christmas". The retiring Presi-
dent, Mrs. Bert Garrett was giv-
en a vote of thanks -by the mem-
bers. Two new members Joined
the club, A deliciouslunch was
served by group 2.

mas Candlelight Service under
the direction of Mrs. F. Falconer.
White gifts were placed under
the Christmas tree to be sent to
the Fred Victor Mission, Toronto.
Later, upstairs, they joined the
Young Peoples' Groups from, On-
tario St. Clinton, and Turner's
Churohes, and all enjoyed watch-
ing two coloured films taken in
Palestine, which were presented
by Mr, C. McGee, Clinton. The
W. A. served lunch in the base-
ment.
