Wilson went to Vic- toria Hospital, London, on Wed- nesday to undergo treatment. Three bus loads of public school pupils went to Niagara Falls on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. 7. M. Eckert vis- ited Mr, and Mrs. J. F. Eckert and family in Ridgetown for a few days last week. Mr. Louis Brall, Detroit, visit- ed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. 3. M. Eckert. Mr. A. J. Chambers, Stratford, and Rev. Gordon Chambers of the Belgian Congo were visitors at Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thompson's last week, and while here they addressed a prayer group at Mrs. Keyes', Egrondville. The teacher and pupils of Bay- field Public School enjoyed' a Picnic Friday afternoon, Swim- ing was enjoyed by the pupils, followed by a weiner roast on the beach. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Parker of London were at their home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs: Howard May and family, St. Marys are holidaying at their cottage. Mrs. Clark. chose for medita- tion "The Luckless Trip". The topic "The Stewardship of. Pray- er" was ably given by Mrs. Wal- ter Bewley. Mrs. N. Alarks gave the secretary's report and called the roll which was _answered with Mr. and Mrs., Percy Parker_ and a verse of scripture.
