Busy Year
The Directors of Huron Coun-
ty Federation of Agriculture
held their monthly meeting in
the Board rooms in Clinton, op
March 19th. The minutes were
read and adopted on motion of_.
A. McGregor and H. Elliott. The
question of printing the Huron
County Federation Survey was
discussed and it was decided to
request Clinton News -Record to
do this work for 1957: thereaft
er it should be -allotted for two
year terms to any of the Coun-
ty weeklies interested.
The Secretary was commend
ed for the news items appearing
in the county weeklies and ad•
vised to continue with them.
The Secretary was instructed to
advise the Poultry Corninittee
to represent the County at the
annual meeting in Toronto.
The Directors 'voiced their ap
proval of supplying legal advice
to members, through the O.F,A,
wherever possible.
The Secretary was instructed
to obtain a number of copies of
the Provincial Federation An-
nual Reports.
During the discussion period
it was felt that the Federation
was going to have a very busy
year, since the necessary legis-
lation is well on the way to take
care of the differences of opin
ion on the validity of the Ont
Farm Products Act and the Fe-
deral Bill 82 the Poultry Pro-
ducers..Beef Producers and the
Wheat Growers are showing de-
