Miss Muriel Collins of Montreal,
who was a guest last week of her
cousin, Mrs. R. G. Parke, returned
on Saturday and also visited at Kit-
chener and Galt,
Mr. Roy Brownell of Farrans Point,
Cornwall, visited on Monday and
Tuesday with his aunt, Mrs. Sydney
Jacobs, who has been quite poorly for
spine ,eaelts, and his uncle, Mr.
Jacobs, who will celebrate his 95th
birthday on September 4. Mr. Jacobs
le still able to be up about the house.
Mrs. Edythe Wallace and little
Jimmie returned home Tuesday from
Palmerston after a two weeks' holi-
day with her friend, Miss Pearl Wynn.
Mr. Ken Campbell, formerly of
Tavistock, is opening an electric
welding shop in Gallop's garage.
Friends of Mr. W. E. Hinchley., who
has bean confined to bed for several
weeks, will be pleased to learn that
he has been improving.
Miss Jean Govenlock of Windsor
and 'Miss Nora Govenlock of Ottawa
have been visiting their uncle and
aunt, Mr. and Mrs, W. E: Hinchley,
Misses Alma Lawrence and Maxine
Lawrence are attending Toronto ex-
hibition this week.
Mr. George Parke of Loudon spent
the week end with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. R. G. Parke.

Lawrence, Kansas, and two children

Mrs. Joe Eckert and fatuity have
returned from Blind River after
several weeks with her husband, who
is engaged with the Ring Paving Co.
Mr. and Mrs. Louts Bradt from De-
troit spent the weep end with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Eckert, and
returned, aeeompanied by their son
Gordon and their daughter Mary who
spent the summer vacation with their
many friends in this vicinity.

home in Edmonton on Monday after
spending the past five weeks with
his mother, Alrs. Somerville and sis-
ter Miss Minnie Somerville, and bro-
ther Mr. Wni. Somerville.

Soo are visiting his brother Mr. Bern-
ard Nott and Mrs. Nott, Hullett.

ed to Windsor on Monday after an ex-
tended visit this summer with Mrs.

visit Toronto Exhibition enroute to
their home.

Mrs. Maude Newell of Port Huron
is the guest of her niece, Mrs. Annie
Reid, for a few days this week.
Miss Louise Allan has returned
home utter holidaying at Port Chester
and also taking in the World's Fair.
Mr. Andrew Little intends to Leave
early next week to visit for a month
in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. He
will be arconpanied vs far as Winni-
peg by his eon, Mr. W. 21 Little, who
will meet Western pupils of the
School for the Blind and return with
them to Brantford. DIr. Andrew
Little will visit at McGregor and Bel-
mont in Manitoba, and the Moose
Mountain country at Wawota its Sasso-

was to have been held on Saturday,
September 9th, has been cancelled.
