Ladies' Aid Hold Interesting
Meeting --
The regular meeting of the Ladies'
Aid of Carmel Church was held on
Tuesday evening with Mrs. Robt.
Cameron presiding. After singing
hymn "Blest Be the Tie that Binds,'
Nits. Young, led it prayer. The min-
utes of the ,previous meeting were
read and adopted and the business
discussed, "Pass Me Not 0 Gentle
Saviour," was sung and •the Lord's
prayer repeated in unison. Mrs. 'Man-
son s group presented the following
program, a musical selection by Mar-
garet and Jean Love, which was very
much enjoyed, Mrs. (Dr.) Campbell
conducted a spelling match, followed
by a quiz contest conducted by Mrs.
R. Y. MacLaren, A 6.alloon contes‘
wasvery .much enjoyed. Prizes were
given for each. A very dainty lunch
was served,
Mr. and Mrs. Herring and daught-
er of London visited on Sunday with
Mrs. Herring's mother, Mrs. Little.

iting with friends in town this week.
