Rev.. Arthur Sinclair had charge of
the service. Interment took place at
Baird% Cemetery, The pallbearers
were J. J. Richardson, John McAsh,
Mortimer 'Elliott, George ,Clark, Geo.
Dou.glas and William Douglas. Rela-
tives were present from London,
Varna, Brucefield and surrounding
,district.
Mie F. Logan has purehased a
vacant lot on King street from Mr.
John Mitchell and intends having a
neat dwelling house erected and will
reside in Hensel'.

Mr. Levi Rands received word on
Friday of the death of his brother, J.
H. Rands of .Medicine Hat, Alta,
Mr. Lee Hedden of Glanworth vis-
ited in town on Sunday. He was ac-
companied home 'by Mrs. Hecklen
who has been visiting here for sev-
eral weeks.
The little son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi
Rands has. been quite serictualy ill and
last week was taken to St Joseph's
Hospital, London, lor treatment.
Mrs. John (Johnston, one of Hen-
sairs grand old ladies, will t elebrate
her 07th 'birthday on Thursday, April
, 7,th. Her many friends join in wish_
,ing her many happy returns .of the
day. Idrs. 'Johnston has been wonder-
fully active. For a few weeks she 'has
not been enljoying her usual good
health ,but her friends hope she will
soon be 'feeling much better.
A very pretty wedding was solemn-
