Cantelon. They had been in Till-
sonburg attending the funeral' of
Mr. Weatherwax's father on' Sat-
urday.

Mr. 0. M, Mackie left Saturday for
New York City to confer with his
chiefs in regard to the Poultry
plant and ehemical works to be es-
tablished here. Mr. Mackie said
before leaving that the company
was considering plans, specifica-
tions, etc., and would soon have
some definite announcements to
make.
Mr.Grant W. A.leaves-
A today, Thurs-
day for St. Petersburg, Florida,
and
will spend the next few
months in the south, though .be may
notsettle for the winter in St. Pet-
ersburg. Miss Jennie Grant, who
has been staying with her brother
for some time, also leaves shortly
for Toronto where sire will spend,
the winter. Mr. Wilber Grant, Mr.
Grant's only son, ,Decently settled in,
!Ottawa and is practising dentistry,
there and is reported as doing very
well, his friends are glad to know.
