Mr. Reg. Noble, M.A., of Toronto,
son of Mr, and Mrs. John Noble,
who has been a member of the
staff of the Meteorological Office,
Toronto, left on Sunday with oth-
ers for Botwood, Newfoundland,
where a new airport is under con-
struction. Mr. Noble will assist with
the work in the forecasting office
at Botwood.
Mr, .and Mrs. Robert. Webster re-
turned to town on Tuesday after a
month's visit with relatives in Big
Valley, Alta. Mr. Webster reports
that conditions in some parts of the
West are not sa good, since they
have been without rain for ;over six
