Waldie is Presi- dent, is holding a Breeder's Picnic in Queen's Park, Stratford, on Tuesday, June 15th. Dr. G. I. Christie, President of the O.A.C. and W. A. Dryden, prominent Shorthorn breeder and Manager of the Royal Winter Fair are to be the guest speakers. Picnic dinner will be served at 12.00 o'clock standard time, and will be followed by a speaking program and sports for everybody. The officers of this newly formed breed association extend a most cor- dial invitation to all who are inter- ested, to join with then on the occa-' sion of their first picnic. We are sorry to Iearn Mrs. Adam •Nicholson is in Scott Memorial Hospi- ital with an injured back. We hope for a speedy recovery. Mr. Joe Nicholson of Ethel called on friends in the village on Monday. Cheshire, England, in 1874. In 1913 she cane to Canada to relatives at Walkerton, and in 1014 she came to Bay:field as housekeeper for Mr, D. C. Galbraith, where she has been until she became ill and was taken to the hospital soiree five months ago. The funeral service was held at Walker- ton on May 31st, at the home of her niece, Mr's, A, Dermic, and interment made in Walkerton cemetery. ST. HELENS Mr., Chas. H.
