3rd, There were twenty-three mern-
bers and visitors present. The pro-
graiit consisted of a solo by Miss
Margaret Crich, a reading by Mrs.
Harold Crich, and a piano solo by
Mrs. A. Matheson.' There 'was also
an exhibit of articles made from,
flour sacks, and these articles were
voteii on, Mrs. Fred Pepper getting
first prize and Mrs. Elmer Townsend
second prize.. It was decided that a
picnic be held on June 27th at No. 6
School grounds in Tuckersmith town-
ship, and the next regular meeting
be on August 5th.

Miss Lorene Fisher spent a few
clays with her sister, Mrs. Irwin Teb-

The annual Sunday School picnic of
Ebenezer church will be held on Sat-
urday, June 13th, on the bank of the
Maitland 'river at Mr. Irvine Teb-

A lovely June wedding took place
at the home of -Mr. and Mrs. J. C.
Hunt, Lambeth, on Saturday after-
noon when their eldest daughter,
Ada Bernice, was united in marriage
to William Stuart Bali, son of Mr.
and Mrs. William Ball of this,town-
ship.'.
The bride, who was 'given in mar-
riage by her father, wore a white lace
gown. over ivory satin' designed on
princess lines, with ..veil and white
satin sandals. She carried a white
colonial. bouquet. Miss; -Velma Hunt,.
as her sister's bridesmaid, wore a
floor-''leiigth'gown of yellow moire
taffeta. Her colonial""bouquet was
of yellow rosebuds anal orchid sweet
peas with maidenhair fern.. Mr. Mel-
bourne Ball was his brother's grooms-
man,
Rev. A. E. Menzies performed the
. ceremony. Mr. J. Banner of St.
Thomas played the bridal music and
