Twenty -Fifth A niversary
On Saturday evening, September
2nd a very pleasant evening was
spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs,
Frank MacGregor when a number
of their relatives and friends gath-
ered to help them celebrate their
twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. At
7.30 all assembled in the dining room
whick was beautifully decorated with
flowers and a sumptuous dinner was
served by Misses Clare Brunsdon,
Erma Mair and Helen MacGregor.
Following this Mr. and Mrs. Mac-
Gregor were requested to unwrap
their gifts, among which was a hand-
some thirty-eight piece oak cabinet
of anniversary silver. A silver an-
niversary card with these verses was
enclosed and read:
Five and twenty varied years
Of cloudy days and fair.
Years of love and sacrifice
Made sweet because you care;
Five and twenty varied years
Of plans and dreams come true.
And may the future years you'll
share
Hold still more joys for you.
Guests were present from Cleve-
land, Detroit, Toronto, Clinton and
surrounding vicinity, The evening
was enjoyably spent in music and
games.
