McCaughey has returned to Clinton after visiting in Toronto. Mrs. Shearing returned home this week after visiting friends in Delhi. Miss E. Cluff returns home today after spending her vacation in Hamilton. 7 Miss Rita Ratz spent a few days Iast week with Miss Gladys Radford at Bayfield. Mr. R. Sperling, C.N.R. agent here, is on holidays. In his absence Mr. C. Arnold is acting agent. Mr, and Mrs. J. Walker of Detroit, Mich., were visitors this week with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Layton, 14r. and Mrs. Elmer 'Colquhoun and family are visiting relatives at Staffa and Cron -lefty this week. Mr. John Cuninghame left on Sat- urday for Owen Sound where he. has taken a position at Radio work. Miss Jean Colquhoun, Toronto, is spending her vacation at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Colquhoun. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rumball who are spending their vacation at Grand Bend visited this week with Mrs. Clara Rumball. Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Thompson and four children of Hamilton are vis- iting this week with Dr. and Mrs. F. G. Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. E. Peterson spent the weekend at Bruce Beach with Rev. and Mrs, Andrew Lane and also visited in Wiarton. Mrs. D. McLeod left on Wednesday for her home in Val D'or, Quebec, after spending 'six weeks with her father, Mr. R. Tiplady, who has been very ill. Mr. Will Argent, who is now. taking a summer course in Manual Train- ing in Hamilton, has been appoint- ed to the staff of the Agincourt Public School. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mersey, St. Marys, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Web- ster and Mr. William Webster of Londesboro were Sunday visitors with.Mrs, E. G. Saville.
