The regular meeting of the Red Cross is being held Thursday after - neon in the church, Three quilts are to be quilted. A reception was hold at the home of the groom's parents in Clinton. Mr. and Mrs. McQuarrie being unable to attend, as the latter is confined to her bed. Mr. and Mrs. Hoy then left on a short trip and on their return are residing on Victoria street, Clin- ton. HURON ROAD The Happy War Workers Club held a successful box social and progres- sive euchre party at the home of Mrs. Noble Holland on Friday, March 20th. The ladies first prize was won by Mrs. Charlie Dale and Mr. Elmer Dale won the gentlemen's. first prize. Mrs. J. W. Crrcli won the ladies prize for the number of lone hand's.
