WHEREAS it has been made to 'appear desirable that a new Colleg late Institute ''building should '.be erected in the Town of Clinton, and to meet; the cost thereof that -the suer of eighty thousand'dollars (550;000:) should be borrowed on the credit' of the Gorporatiott. The signature of the Treasurer to such coupons may be written, stamped, lithographed or engraved thereon, 4. That upon the passing of this By-law the Mayor and Treasurer' are hereby authorized and directed , to. pay over to the Collegiate Institute' Board of the said Town of Clinton from time to time such sums as shall be required by the said Board for ,the'• purposes aforesaid, not exceeding in all the stun of 580,000.60 so to:, be raised, - 5.
