There passed away in Clinton Hos-
pital en Sunday, August '30th, Rundle
41unking, an I' old and highly esteemed
resident of Hullett township in his
75th year. . The deceased, who was
,born at Bowmanville, came to lot 35
con. 12, with his parents, John and
Alice Honking,; when but a'ehild and
there he resided until about seven
teen years ago, when he moved to his
latel'esidence on the 13th con. He
had always enjoyed, the best of heal'h
until five weeks ago' when,he sus-
tained a
ustaineda fractured -hie. hie was'tak-•
en :directly to the hospital in Clinton
where he received the -best of care,
but in spite of all that could be .done,
he slowly sank and quietly 'passed.

He was married in 1884 tb Marga-
ret' Rumball , of : Goderich, who prede-
ceased ' him four, Years ago last Jan-
uary. ',To e`_this union' were born a
family' of six, four of whom survive,
