troyed their residence at the outskirts
of the village early yesterday morn-
ing. When the neighbors came at.
the alarm of fire they found lila, and
Mrs.' 'Wilson at an .upstair . window

Wilson was carried down in a semi-
conscious condition. But before Mr.

Already_ Been Signed Up
At a well attended meeting held in
the Opera House Tuesday evening it
was decided to proceed with the or-
ganization of the Ontario Bean Grow-
ers Co-operative Association, Limited,
13y -laws for the association were eon-
sidered and passed and four directors
the proportion allotted to Kent coun-
ty, were elected. The four elected
are Angus McMillan of 'Harwich; ,D.
R. McDiarmid, of Howard F. W.
Scott, of Orford, and John Milns, of
Raleigh.

sons mentioned in Section 9 of the
Ontario Voters' List Act' the ,copies
of the list made pursuant to the said
Act, of all peiS0l1s appearing by the
last revised Assessment Roll of the
said Municipality to be entitled to
vote in the said Municipality at deo-
