everything from ".the high-powered

AS its representatives, Canada has
sent A1or. Johnson, the deputy mtuis-

of radio foo Canada, ,Commander 0,
P. Edwards, director of radio for Can-

tion, of course, are attached nnmer

radio, as well as secretaries and re-
presentatives of the various commer-

nations have similar delegations, iine
many cases of mholi-ilargee rise: It
is extremely unlikely that the confer

and a tremendous number of subiects
must be discussed and settled. .e.
complete new draft of the London
eonention which 4s the former int_er-

drawn up and the law settled for, per
haps, the pext decade.
. The many themes of interest to the
average citizen of the Dominion will•
be those governing b'oadcaating. As
hl
the reader knows, the United States
of America -and Canada are 'now oper-
ating ,under an agreemen reabhed
last year,°and jry whici`c -the various
wave lengths between 200 metres and
560 metres' ware apportioned out by
the government into various wave
channels which wore 10 kilocycles
apart. Canada was awarded certain
DI these channels and the 'United
States the balance. , Canada has
<elaimed that she 'should be entitled
to mare wave channels than have
been -allowed her by the United States
government, and there is a possibility
that pressure will bo brought to bear
on the United States at this confer-
ence to recognize Canadian rights to
these extra waive lengths.
