ing to her mother being laid up
•with a fractured arm. She re-
turned to Loddon on Monday.

her sisters, Mrs. W. Rickard and
Miss Georgina Rumba. Mrs. Sin-
• clair has been quite ill but is now
much better end her friends trust
she will soon be quite herself again.
Rev. Franlc Herman of Bolton spent
the week -end as the guest of his
mother in town, He had motored
to Landoll on Saturday to attend
the funeral of the late Canon
Gunne, and- came on up for the

Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Manning. re-
turned Saturday evening from a
honeymoon trip to' Quebec City and
intervening points. They made the
journey by motor, stopping at
many interesting and historic spots,
en route, Mr. avid Illes. Manning
will take up housekeeping in the
Gibbinge eottave in Gibbing's street.
