Cox, who is in charge of a mission at Nipissing, and who is holidaying in the community, will preach at Ebenezer church at half past one on Sunday next. Miss Bina Kirk of Toronto is visit- ing this ,week with her aunt, Mrs.' J. C. McMath. Miss Kirk has been .visiting at Nile where a very happy reunion of her old schoolmates was recently held. • Mr. E. W. Phillips and little son, Ibobin, tof Sarnia visited at the hone of Mr. and Mrs. John Jervis over the week -end, Mr. Phillips having come to Clinton to take the services in St. Paul's church on Sunday. Mr. I. A. Mahon came up from Mon- treal'on Saturday and accompanied his wife and little son home on Monday. It will”` be remembered that the little lad, who is four years of age, was very severely in- jured when .a coil of wire fell on him several weeks ago. The lad is progressing favorably and it is hoped_ will be none the worse for his mishap when he recovers. His leg is still ina plaster east. Mr. and Mrs, M. 1'. Corless and fam- ily returned Sunday evening from a very- interesting motor trip through tho Nickel and Copper Belt in the Sudbury Basin, where they visited Levack, , Frood ^ and GersonMines, renewing old ac- . and also spent some little time at the International Nickel plant and operations at ;Copper Cliff. Some time was spent at the _Worthington Mine which, many will recall, caved in on Oct - Ober 4th,, 1927, •engulfing the large. power Incise with its compressor's etc., also some, of the C. P.;R. cars, track "and, property. The trip bor- dered Lake- Simcoe Lake Nipissing, the Muskoka Lakes and the Geor- gian 'Bay. 'Mr. and Mrs. .
