THE SUMMER SCHOOL IN
" GODERICH
The Young People's Summer School
under the auspices of the United
Church of Canada, held in Goderieh
each year, commenced 1Vfonday night
when a social was held in the North
Street Church, conducted by the
iVortit ,5trogt and 'Victoria Churches.
The early evening was spent in
genies which were led by Miss Mary
Rowell of the North Street Church,
and Miss Delight M'uteh of Victoria
Street Church; Following the games
a sacred sing -song was led by Doug-
las,, Campbell.and the officers of the
school were introduced by the presi-
dent, Rev. W. A. Bremner of Bruce

The School is being continued all
this week, with morning lectures and
study 'classes, -recreations during the
afternoon and evening meetings.
This evening a letcure on "Ireland
and the Irish" will be given by Rev.
E. W. Young of: Dundee Centre Uni-
ted church, London, an Irishman who
came to Canada last year. Tomorrow
Friday, evening; a pageant will be
put on by the Mission study class un-
der the direction, of Miss McIntosh
of China.
