three years. He was librarian of
the school for twelVe years and Bible
class teacher for six, then Sunday
school superintendent for a little ov-
er twenty-five years. • He said the
success attained had been largely due
to the help he had receiyed at home
and the hearty co-opera,tion of the
teachers and ,, officers and scholars,
and while he had felt at times it was
quite a responsibility, yet he never
felt it a burden, as he had derived'a
good deal of benefit and pleasure in
the performance of his duties. And
that during his twenty-five years
as superintendent he had the exper-
ience of seeing a number of those who
were in the beginners class grow up
and remain members of the school,
and their 'children are now ill the
primary classes. And while he had
resigned froin the superintendency he
would remain a member of the Sun-
day school and help when and where
needed. Lunch was then served by
the congregation and it pleasant soc-
ial time was spent.
